If you’re new to HU…
For many people, including over 2,000 Canadian alumni’s, HU of Jerusalem marks the highlight of their academic studies. “The best year(s) of our life!” is the most common response. How could it not be – you’re one of 23,500 students enrolled at the University, including 11,700 undergraduates, 6,900 master’s degree students, 2,700 doctoral candidates, and 2,200 at the Rothberg School for Overseas Students – including at least 120 fellow Canadians! And you’re in Israel. In Jerusalem!
Think you might like to be part of this? Consider this: Hebrew University of Jerusalem has established itself as one of the top 60 universities in the world. This is not conjecture, but fact. Consider further: 6 Nobel Prize laureates are past alumni of Hebrew University, including none other than Albert Einstein. Oh, Sigmund Freud and Martin Buber, intellectual giants of the 20th Century, also happened to be founder members of Hebrew University. So if it’s academic stimulation you crave, in the most juxtaposed city (historically speaking) in the world, look no further than the articles and insights available right here in Hebrew You.
