INFECTED MUSHROOM IN JERUSALEM – 1 NIGHT ONLY

Get ready for psy-trance
Get ready for psy-trance

Tomorrow night – December 17th,  I – along with many of my friends in  Jerusalem – will be ready to party as psychedelic trance and electronic music group Infected Mushroom will be in here for just one show! It is their first show in Israel since their album “Legend of the Black Shwarma” (2009) was released – and went to the top of the billboard charts in America.

Infected Mushroom are a psy-trance band — complex electronic music with the sophistication of rock or jazz. Keyboard player Erez Aizen says he and his partner Amit Duvdevani want to bring the world around them into the nightclub.

In a recent intervew with NPR they say “To write a trance track is the same as a normal song. Sometimes it’s even harder, because it’s in one note, no lyrics, no catchy frames, only with one note. So to do a good trance track is 100 times harder than doing a normal song. We became a full band onstage and got much more reaction in places that didn’t know electronic music”.

I am NOT  selling my ticket so don’t ask – I think you can still get tickets by going to http://www.infected-mushroom.com/main_html.php and trying to buy last-minute from someone. Good luck and see you there hopefully.

Its called the Matbucha Project and you can hear them at Hangar Hale’um Kiryat Hamemshala in Givat Ram (160-180-220 NIS)  at 10pm

Asterix is also playing.
